VAAM Award for Best Poster goes to Justine Camus

PhD student Justine Camus received a poster award for the best poster in the section of host-pathogen interaction at the 2026 VAAM Annual Meeting in Berlin. The award was given for her poster on the project “Staphylococci remodel lipids at the host-microbe interface,” which she is conducting in Arnaud Kengmo Tchoupa’s research group. The prize is sponsored by, among others, the ASM journal Infection and Immunity

The poster award is presented by the Association for General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM) during its annual conference in various subject areas. In addition to ASM, the sponsors of the poster awards include BIOspektrum, W&H Wassertechnik GmbH, and Biozym Scientifiy GmbH.
