MSc students receive award for outstanding science communication

04.03.2026 CMFI News

This year the new MSc Microbiology and Infection Biology has introduced a dedicated module on Scientific Communication for the first time.

The new format was met with great enthusiasm from both students and faculty. The module aims to strengthen key competencies in presenting complex scientific content clearly, accurately, and engagingly – skills that are essential for modern research careers.

The highlight of the course was the final poster session. Two students particularly impressed the jury with their excellent poster design and confident presentation:

Leon Rösch and Tjark Schneider

In recognition of their outstanding performance, they were awarded a prize sponsored by the CMFI Excellence Cluster.

We warmly congratulate both awardees on this achievement!
